GIRL'S GOLF CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS~
From Coach Natalie Wheeler:
"We were able to clinch our Conference Championship for the second year in a row on Saturday! (Which is now only the second time in school history for this achievement) We won by an astounding 70 strokes. All five of our golfers made the All-Conference team, which is the first time in school history that has happened. Only 8 golfers made the All-Conference team and 5 of them were ours. (This # is based on how many golfers in total are playing in the tournament each year. They take the top third, so this year it was 8 golfers and ties.) Our individual results are below. Please see the attachment for the overall results. We are so proud of this huge win. Last year, we tied for first and the winner was decided by the 5th golfer's score. It is crazy how much we have improved from last year, 31 strokes better as a team. We are peaking at the right time and we are hoping we can continue on this path of lower scores! We have two meets this week. Tonight we are at Sugar Bay at 4 pm. Wednesday we are at Butler Falls again. Next week, we have three regular season meets and then Sectionals on the 21st. I am attaching pictures and the results from the weekend.
Makayla Bowling - Co-Medalist (lowest score) - 98 (Tied for 1st with Lilly Fox from Southwestern)
Bri Stow - 3rd place - 99
Marilynn Dalrymple - 4th place - 101
Alexis Mangold - 5th place - 103
Payton Stow - 6th place - 105"
