Switzerland County Schools will be closed Tuesday, April 28 due to extensive road debris cleanup. This will be an asynchronous e-learning day—students should complete posted assignments on their own (no live teacher sessions). Schools will be open for Chromebook pickup if needed. Students without a device will have extra time this week to complete work with no penalty. Thank you for your understanding.

Due to storm debris and water crossing some low-lying roads, Switzerland County School Corporation will operate on a two-hour delay on Tuesday, April 28.
Roads have been reassessed and due to deteriorating road conditions with some additional snow bursts in regions of the county Switzerland County School Corporation will now operate on a synchronous E-learning day Tuesday, March 17th.
Switzerland County School Corporation will operate on a two hour delay Tuesday, March 17th due to isolated areas of black ice.
Switzerland County School Corporation will operate on synchronous E-learning Monday, March 2nd 2026, due possible sleet and icy road conditions during bus pick up times in portions of the county. Students should follow the E-learning class schedule beginning at 9:00 a.m.
