Congratulations to Switzerland County High School junior Paige Earls on earning the prestigious Congressional Award Gold Medal. This is an incredible achievement recognizing dedication, leadership, and service.
Established by the United States Congress in 1979, the Congressional Award honors young people who set and achieve challenging personal goals. Paige didn’t just meet the challenge—she exceeded it.
Over a minimum of 24 months, Paige completed:
400+ hours of voluntary public service
200 hours of personal development
200 hours of physical fitness
A 5-day, 4-night expedition exploring new environments and cultures
Through youth camps, soccer clinics, leadership development, and a multi-day expedition that included visits to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, West Point, and New York City, Paige demonstrated commitment, resilience, and a passion for growth.
She didn’t just win this award, she earned it.
We are incredibly proud of you, Paige!
