The girls track team competed at sectionals in Jeffersonville on Tuesday, May 16th. They came away with three individual sectional champions and one champion relay team, the 4×4. Aleiah Thomas placed first in the high jump with a jump of 5ft 2inches, Natalie Newman was first in the discus with a throw of 105ft 6 inches, Leah Anders was first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:28, and the girls 4×4 Relay Team set a new school record with a time of 4 :21 for a first-place finish. Members of the 4 X 4 team are M. Northcutt, A. Furnish, M. Covington and L. Anders.
