Parents and Guardians,
In addition to our new mailed meal delivery program, which sign ups end today. Switzerland County School Corporation has purchased additional prepackaged breakfast and lunch meals through AmeriQual. The meals will come in the box of 10 breakfast and lunch meals per student (two weeks). You will be able to pick up one box per child in your house. These meals do not require refrigeration beyond the milk provided with each meal.
Student meals can be picked up on Wednesday May 13th from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the following locations:
Vevay – Switzerland County Middle School located at 1004 West Main Street
East Enterprise – Switzerland County Elementary School located at 12862 Highway 250
No sign up is required this time. You simply drive up to the designated drive through area and tell them how many children you have in your home. Once there you will remain in your car, school personnel will ask for your students name, then you’ll pull forward to have someone place a box in your trunk or truck bed for each student. There will be no need for you to leave the vehicle unless to open the trunk. All stations will be socially distanced for volunteers who will be wearing masks.
This pickup is the last pickup time before the mailed meal option begins at the end of this month. The mailed meal program will run through June 30th. These are two different programs to help support students with meals. If you have not completed the form for the mailed meals, at no cost, please do so on our school website or by using the following link. https://mealstoyou.org/emergency-meals-to-you-application/. If you have already signed up for the mailed meal option, please check to make sure you received an email confirmation.
**Today is the deadline to sign up for home delivered meals.**
Thank you for all your support,
Mr. Rod Hite, Superintendent
Switzerland County School Corporation
