Switzerland County High School
The students in the Switzerland County High School Esports program were excited and grateful to recently receive a $22,500 grant from the Vevay-Switzerland County Foundation. This grant has enabled the program to purchase 12 high performance gaming computers, accessories and software that the students use to compete with other schools from across the state.

Students involved in esports are a natural fit for careers in STEM, which offer some of the best employment opportunities for today’s students. esports can help prepare students for a future that is rapidly evolving around them. There are a myriad of career paths that can be pursued relating to esports and esports management. Competitive gaming has become a billion-dollar business and is projected to grow exponentially and many colleges now offer scholarships for esports competitors. Below we have included pictures of the setup of the computers and the very first competition of the current season.
