“Switzerland County Elementary recently competed in the local Spell Bowl competition held at Ohio County Elementary-Middle School in Rising Sun.  The SCES spellers were 1st place in their division and had the best overall score out of all the schools. One SCES speller, T. Lay, received a ribbon for a near perfect round, only missing one word. The members of the team include: B. Bennett, C. Jones, T. Lay, S. Louden, E. Morrison, C. Rogers, A. Salmi, C. Seaver and A. Smith. The SCES team would like to also congratulate the Jefferson-Craig team for placing first in their division!”
