MS X-Country Teams Compete at State.

From Coach Kaulene Green:

Saturday October 5, 2019 Switzerland County Middle School Cross Country Teams competed in the Indiana State Cross Country Meet in Indianapolis.  Both teams had to qualify during the regular season to run in this prestigious race.
In the girls race, Claire Rogers continued her string of incredible performances with a 20th place finish out of 334 middle school girls.  She finished with a time of 11:50; followed by Carlee Boggs 13:07; Halle Archer 13:11; Amber Detmer 13:22; Bri Stow 13:43; and Macy Collier 14:55.  Everyone ran a great race and contributed to an overall team place of 19th out of 37 teams.
The boys ran an awesome race as well.  Cale Collier led the way with a time of 11:46, followed by Derek Hoskins 12:14; Peyton Richards 12:45; Luke Sullivan 12:51; Kadyn Riley 14:08 and Caleb Riley 14:45.  Many personal bests were recorded in this race. This was the close of our 2019 Cross Country season, but not the end of a great run. As the coach, I am so incredibly proud of all the student athletes that dedicate themselves to running each day.  Not only are they all great athletes, they are great students as well.
