From Coach Chad Combs: “Kyle dominated both sides of the plate. He was able to command his fastball and his off-speed pitches. Kyle hit the lead-off batter in the 2nd inning. This was the only baserunner he allowed and kept this effort from being a perfect game. This was not a one man show. The defense played outstanding defense behind him. The entire lineup hit the ball well (including Kenyon Bledsoe going 4-4 and Austin South hitting his 1st homerun of the season) which assured that the game only went 5 innings. This was a great team effort and an outstanding individual performance. ”
Kyle has pitched 12 innings with 24 strikouts so far this season. Kyle was also named ORVC player of the week!
