NINE WEEKS DOWN!
It has been an eventful first nine weeks of school. Our students are getting back into the swing of being students again. Our teachers are excited about having kiddos back in the building. It has been a great first nine weeks of school!
We want to thank all of the parents who participated in parent/teacher conferences this year. Even though the circumstances were not ideal, we worked together to create successful parent/teacher conferences. If you ever have any concerns or questions about your child’s education, please reach out to your child’s teacher by phone, email or Dojo. We want to continue the communication between the school and families.
As the weather turns cooler, we always see an increase in student sickness. If your child is sick, please do not send them to school. Students can login to Google Classroom and complete assignments from home. As long as they are doing this, they will be counted as being present. Every student in the building received two masks. Please remember to send these to school with your child. We are handing out quite a few each day. The cool fall weather is settling in so don’t forget to send your child is a jacket each morning so they can still enjoy outdoor recess.
Our Fall Party is tomorrow and I would like to take this opportunity to remind you of our new procedures due to Covid. Please only send in individually pre-packaged items. This means a tray of cookies or cupcakes would NOT be acceptable UNLESS they were each individually pre-packaged.
We can’t thank you enough for your patience and understanding. We are looking forward to another great nine weeks of school!
Mrs. Ashley Kitts
