JC Math Bowl Team Takes a Hard Won 2nd Place at Competition

From Principal Tony Spoores:

On February 21st, the Math Bowl team competed at Aurora Elementary School. We had a great time and the students did AWESOME! We were in a category with 4 schools (based on size) and we tied for 1st but ended up 2nd after including tie breakers. As you can see from the pictures, it was very close between all the schools. The organization hosting commented that this was the first time they had to go in depth using the tie breaker rules.Again, congratulations to the students, coaches, and Lacey Peelman who tagged along to support and proctor!
