High School Students 16 & Older Now Eligible for Pfizer Covid-19 Vaccine.

IDOH Header

Anyone age 16 and older will be eligible for COVID-19 vaccination in Indiana starting March 31. Please see the attached information to share with your high school students and their parents. It has important information about how to register for vaccination. Of particular note is the fact that students younger than 18 years old must make an appointment at a site that offers the Pfizer vaccine, as it is the only shot authorized for 16- and 17-year-olds. Thank you for your help in sharing this vital information with your students and families.

General questions from the public or healthcare provider inquiries about COVID-19 may be directed to the state Department of Health COVID-19 Call Center at the toll-free number: 877-826-0011 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily for public and healthcare providers).

Sincerely,

 Boxsign
