From BPA Advisor Kodi Thayer:
“Our program, BPA, was approached by Sarah Brichto to help work with individuals in the community and help them learn how to use a computer to benefit them. 4 students were sent from the Digital Applications Class on November 15 to help lead this program. Each student was able to work individually with a community member to help them learn what they wanted to know. The skill levels varied greatly as we had some who had very little experience and wanted to know just the basic of turning on the computer and using the internet and some who wanted to learn to use Excel better. Overall, it was a great experience for the students and the community members and we plan to continue this in the future. “
From Organizer Sarah Brichto:
” The students were great teachers this morning. They worked one on one with the participants and taught with focus, patience and thorough knowledge of all things computer related. All the participants were very satisfied with the program and are interested in continuing. Thanks for such a great team and great experience.”
